Skip This If You Love Gen-Z Twitter Boi Advice

Hey Reader, About a year ago, I sat in a resort in Mexico with my family. The water was beautiful. The pool was amazing. The kids loved it. But I just didn't feel right. All I could think about was my 9-5, worrying about deals and things that had to get done. It was depressing AF. I quickly realized I needed to make a change. What do I want? How am I going to do it? Is this even possible? While my family was enjoying themselves, it was not fair to them to only be a shell of myself around them. Zoom forward a year later and I'm on track for my best year at the 9-5 and I've generated revenue as a solopreneur. I did what I said I wanted to do (still have a long way to go, but looking back, I'm proud). Doing what you said you would do is nearly as fulfilling as the results themselves, btw. Well guess what: you can do the same. It can be scary to start something of your own. It's confusing AF. Twitter is full of lame cold DMs, broke bois and repetitive "advice". Social media is misleading. The tools and tech can be tough to figure out. What I find the most frustrating is that majority of people spewing "advice" on X have never sold anything or run a business before. As a 9-5 tech seller and growing solopreneur, I can tell you that the most important thing I've found over the past 12 months is: Setting up a proper foundation by looking inward FIRST. That's why I documented a prompt to help me clarify my unique value proposition. I highlighted what I always knew about myself but needed some reinforcement to make sure I was on the right path. It's that reassurance that I know myself and I can be more confident now so I can start to help others.
