it's not you, it's me

Earlier this week I posted a tweet that I think resonated with a good amount of folks:

My digital trail is LITTERED with failed businesses, domain names, random services I've signed up for etc.

All fueled by wanting to own something for myself.

Build something.

But each time, for the most part, I fell into the trap of expecting results too soon. I'd build something, launch it and wonder why nobody wanted it.

The worse part about it is that I never wanted to face the music and realize that I was the problem!

I realized that I didn't have the right skills, the right processes in place, etc.

Look, I have some sales cred (I've sold $45M in technology consulting services in B2B over the past 6 years), but so what?

Building a solo business is a different ballgame and you have to be willing to learn.

So that's what I've been doing over the past 12 months and since I realized I was the problem and committed myself to learning, getting better, practicing, etc....I'm getting better.

  • 3 service clients (about to onboard another)
  • sold digital products
  • building a steady email list with automation

So if you're like me, you're ready to acknowledge you need help to build/accelerate your solo business...let's change your trajectory in 30 minutes:
