is Digital Shallowness costing you?

Read Time: 5m

Here’s a situation all too familiar:

Find any large creator and scroll through one of their posts…99% of the replies are shallow and don’t compel the original poster to take any action.

When you read comments like this on your posts, it's hard to engage right?

You can't seem to figure out how to reply and you certainly don't want to click on their profile.

You hit the heart button and scroll on by….

Here’s another situation that happened to me, which has likely happened to you as well:

I had a person approach me on X. They were friendly and we had a few good conversations. It felt like one of those relationships where we help each other out with feedback about our strategy on X, creating offers etc.

After we hadn’t talked for a couple of days, he got impatient and started chasing me hard for a couple of days in the DMs to talk again…I could tell something was off. It felt like he was duping me with friendliness so I’d buy something from him.

Honestly, if we would’ve kept talking casually, I probably would have considered paying him to help me out a bit with a few things.

What do both of these situations have in common?

Shallowness.

I realized that digital shallowness costs you sales.

When you don’t put effort into your posts, replies and relationships, things will fall apart.

So how do you avoid Digital Shallowness?

Here’s 3 things you need to know:

First, this can’t be achieved unless you believe in what you’re doing and your heart is in the right spot, unlike the guy I spoke to.

Second and more tactically, isolate your focus to specific creators you want to have a similar audience to.

Focus on replying to that person’s posts with thoughtful, funny or with media when you do this. One of my favorite ways to get Kieran Drew’s attention is by asking him when his OnlyFans is going to open up. He replies nearly every time.

Also scroll and reply to a few others who have replied to the original post as well.

If you need help setting up XPro to do this process more efficiently, I have a short course here that’ll get you all set up.

Third: Go to your DM list on X and scroll through it a bit.

Send a short message to someone you’ve enjoyed talking to but haven’t spoken to in a while.

Tell them you hope they’re having a good day, send them a relevant tweet they’d like, or ask them how things are going.

Put your heart in the right spot, be thoughtful and care about others…watch how people get attracted to you.

When you establish trust, people want to be around you, learn more from you and then ultimately pay you.

I’d like to hear your thoughts on other ways to avoid Digital Shallowness, reply back with how you do it. Or perhaps you’re stuck with a particular situation...reply back to this email, I read and reply to every single one.

I’d like to learn more from you - see how that works?
