do this to challenge your "limitations"

You’re not always right.

If you don’t stop, zoom out and assess what’s holding you back, then you’ll never realize this.

And it could make or break your solopreneur journey.

Here's my problem:

I know that LinkedIn would be a better platform for me to grow Sell to Freedom.

Faster growth.

More leads.

More opportunity.

BUT, my message is all about starting a one person business, how 9-5’s are trading time for money, etc.

I’m working my way out of my 9-5.

I don’t want to advertise that on LinkedIn because all my colleagues are there and would be like WTF.

It’s painful though because I want to leverage the best possible platform to meet the objective and I can’t use it.

Because of my unwillingness to confront this problem and zoom out until now, here’s what I missed:

I don’t HAVE TO have a call to action when I post on LinkedIn.

I don’t HAVE TO write about all the things I write about on X.

I CAN write about digital sales as it applies to my current role.

I CAN write about social selling leveraging LinkedIn.

I CAN grow that audience and when the time is right, I’ll start putting the call to action in my profile that makes sense.

Here’s my platform strategy:

  • continue leveraging X as my primary platform about solopreneur digital sales
  • post on LI about my 9-5 digital sales to build audience there, transition this audience to X when it makes sense
  • Leverage both X and TikTok for short-form video content
  • I don’t trust Meta

When you’re faced with a problem and you know it’s eating at you:

  • Step back.
  • Think through it.
  • Think about a various solutions that you hadn't considered before.
  • Step away from your devices and allow your brain to think.

You CAN find solutions to overcome the obstacles in your digital sales journey.
