Acronyms are annoying

I hate when people use acronyms that nobody else knows.

Why?

Because it muddies the conversation and puts everything in YOUR terms, not the person listening.

All the time, in my 9-5, I find myself in meetings with other internal folks or clients and there will always be that one person that decides to throw out an acronym that someone doesn't know.

I think most speakers realize that the other person won't know what the acronym is, and for some reason this gives them a feeling of power because it's something "kinda secret" that only they know.

LAME.

I ALWAYS bust acronyms. I don't care if it's an exec meeting or not.

Why?

Because I want the recipient to understand what's being communicated.

What's the point of having the conversation if they don't get it?

The same lesson applies in your solo business.

If you're using YOUR lingo and not your client's...you're confusing them and therefore leaving money on the table.

A couple of weeks ago, I showed how I use my ideal client's lingo in my content, emails and offers during my 4 No-Brainer Strategies to Attract Your Ideal Clients workshop.

As a result, my message comes across crystal clear, which then leads to great conversations, great leads and sales.

Check it out to learn this, plus 3 other ways I do this (along with a Bonus).

Don't be that acronym guy.
