3 things I brought over from my 9-5 to generate income as a solopreneur

I've closed $1.57M in sales this year in my 9-5.

Here's three things I do in my 9-5 that I've naturally adopted as a solopreneur that has helped me generate my first >$1k as a solopreneur (3 service clients and digital products):

1. Be human - if you follow a "sales process" too rigidly and sound robotic in your tweets, emails, calls, landing pages etc...you're not going to evoke any sort of emotion from your reader. You need to do this to compel people to take action.
2. Detach from the outcome and focus on the inputs - too many people are focused on the outcomes when all you need to do is set up the proper system and focus on HIGH QUALITY INPUTS. Write good tweets, write good emails, build a good solution. If you put good ingredients in and experiment over time, you WILL make a great cake (and people love to buy cake).
3. Take action - that one thing you've been putting off for 3 weeks? In your mind, you probably told yourself it's going to take 8 hours to get it done, when it'll probably only take 15 minutes. Just start and watch the momentum build. That could be: sending that DM, sending your first email to your email list, starting your offer on Gumroad, writing a thread, posting something on LinkedIn. JUST START!

I would also HIGHLY recommend turning on Focus Mode on iPhone or whatever the equivalent is on Android.
