2 golfers that reminded me of an important solopreneur trait

Below you'll learn about the importance of solopreneur momentum.

But first, let me tell you what I'm up to right now.

My 10 year old takes golf lessons, once a week (he's certainly not going to learn from me...despite being in 9-5 tech sales, I HATE golf).

I'm writing this to you from a table next to the putting green in SugarLand, TX.

There's 2 people practicing their putts.

One guy is about my age (late 30s) who looks dialed in, but a bit tense.

Traditional golf wear.

He hits a ball, shakes his head a bit, takes the ball back to the original spot and starts over.

Then there's a kid wearing untraditional golf apparel.

He's loose.

Looks relaxed.

He hits a putt and continues to play that same ball from where it is.

Looks like he doesn't care at all, but I know he does, subtly.

Guess who's making more putts?

The relaxed kid.

It's natural.

He's iterating.

He's building confidence with each stroke.

He's not beating himself up.

Getting closer to the pin with each hit.

Not starting over each time.

This is how you MUST operate as a solopreneur.

Start where you are and don't completely scrap your plans when you don't hit your target.

JUST GET CLOSER!

Build on what you've done.

Learn from your mistakes.

Build momentum.

One of the best ways you can build momentum is to deeply understand what your ideal clients are struggling with.

When you do this, it unlocks everything else.

  • tailored content to drive email subscribers
  • juicy emails that people love to read
  • natural offers that solve painful challenges

Don't be like the stiff guy on the golf course, beating yourself up making no progress.

Instead, join me next week in a 45m workshop where I discuss 4 strategies you can apply in less than an hour that can build that momentum in your solo business.

I'm looking for 3 more attendees at the link below.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
